Not just for what you see on the day, but for everything that makes it possible: planning, sourcing, early starts at flower markets, prepping every stem, designing, transporting, and installing. I also factor in paying fair wages to any helpers and using sustainable practices wherever I can. My goal is to give you something truly special, without undercutting the time, energy, and artistry that goes into it.

Behind the scenes, floral work is often a full week (or more) of labour: site visits, recipes, emails, ordering, prepping hundreds of stems, packing the van, setting up and clearing down - all timed precisely to your wedding day. My prices reflect the full scope of that work, so you’re not just paying for flowers - you’re paying for expertise, timing, and care.

At Catkin Studio, I create thoughtfully designed, seasonal wedding flowers with a romantic, artful touch. Every bouquet, tablescape, or installation is tailored to reflect your story and setting. No cookie-cutter templates here. My work blends intuition, design skill, and a love for nature to create floral pieces that feel grounded, soulful, and beautiful in motion.

I used to hesitate over pricing, but I’ve learned that valuing my work clearly helps both me and my clients. You deserve a florist who pours care into every detail and is fully resourced to do their best work. I charge what I do because this is more than flowers - it’s storytelling, problem solving, early mornings, ladders, and heart. Charging fairly allows me to be fully present and creative. Not rushing or cutting corners. It means I can take fewer weddings and give each one my whole focus, which is exactly how I like to work.
